New College Institute (NCI)—in partnership with Build Smart Institute—is excited to announce a new upcoming course: “Introduction to Electrical Training”. This hands-on course offers a unique opportunity to build a solid foundation in electrical systems through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) curriculum.
When: February 10 – 14, 2025 @ 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Daily
Where: New College Institute, 191 Fayette Street, Martinsville, VA 24112
Participants will gain essential skills and cover a variety of critical topics, including:
- Safety for Electricians
- Electrical Circuits
- Device Boxes
- Wireways, Raceways & Fittings
- Conductors & Cables
- Electrical Test Equipment
- Electric Lighting
- Pull & Junction Boxes
- Conductor Terminations & Splices
- Grounding & Bonding
- Circuit Breakers & Fuses
There are no pre-requisites for this course, and upon completing the coursework, participants will receive a certificate of completion from Build Smart Institute, a state-recognized training facilitator.
