Amatrol’s Skill Boss Manufacturing offers organizations performance-based assessments for evaluating the skill levels and competencies of future machine operators. Skill Boss Manufacturing is outfitted with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and Variable Frequency Drives. This system fits onto a standard tabletop and features an electric motor, variable frequency drive, human-machine interface, pneumatic pick-and-place module, and much more.

Amatrol 990-BH1, 99-HPS1
Amatrol’s Portable Basic Hydraulics Training System allows learners to gain skills by studying topics like basic hydraulic circuits, pressure control circuits, hydraulic schematics, and sequence valves. This learning system allows learners to study and practice how to read a pressure gauge, as well as liquid level and temperature in the reservoir, connecting hydraulic circuits, operating a bi-directional hydraulic motor, converting between absolute and gauge pressure, and connecting and adjusting the pressure setting of a pressure relief valve. 

Haas CSMBD Simulator
This Haas Simulator is perfect for classroom training and on-site control demonstrations. Teach programming and machine operation using a real, full-function Haas control panel and keypad. Includes simulated graphic dry run, tool length measurement, work offsets, true DNC, and the Haas Visual Programming System. The control simulator can also be mirrored on a computer or mobile device and projected for classroom display. 

Industrial Control Cabinets
The Center’s six Industrial Control Cabinets utilize real-world industrial hardware and control components found in manufacturing and related operations. With 3-phase incoming voltage stepped down to 24-volt control voltage, the control cabinets include relays, safety switches, and control transformers identical to those found in industrial control applications.

Arclight Dynamics Arc Max 4×8 Plasma Cutter
The Arc Max Ultra 4×8 Plasma Cutter has a cutting envelope of 50″ x 97″ x 6.5” and is capable of cutting 1” thick mild steel with a position accuracy of .001″.

Haas ST-10(Y)(X2)

MAZAK VARI-AXIS I-700
The next-generation VARIAXIS i-700 vertical machining center offers advanced multiple-surface, simultaneous 5-axis machining capabilities for accurate single-setup processing of parts with complex profiled surfaces. Specifications for the Mazak i-700 are available upon request.

Ellis 1800 Band Saw
The Ellis 1800 band saw is very popular for its dual mitering capability, extremely large cutting capacity, and rugged durability. The material stays stationary for miter cuts, while the head rotates up to 50 degrees both left and right. Fast and accurate angle selection is possible with the built-in protractor. The head feed rate is controlled by the hydraulic control, which has a locking valve for setting up cuts.

VECTRAX Vertical Band Saw

JET JTM-4VS
The JET JTM-4VS is a high-performance vertical milling machine designed for precision and versatility. It features a powerful 3 HP motor, a variable speed head, and a large worktable to handle a variety of milling tasks. Equipped with the ACU-RITE digital readout
system, it ensures precise measurements and increased productivity, making it ideal for professional machining applications.

NATIONAL 44816
The National 44816 Box Brake has a bending length of 48.25″ and is capable of bending 16-gauge mild steel and 20-gauge stainless steel.

NATIONAL N5216
The National 5216 Metal Shear has a cutting length of 52″ and is capable of shearing 16-gauge mild steel and 20-gauge stainless steel.

Baleigh SR-5016
The Baleigh SR-5016 sheet metal roller possesses a 50″ working width. The machine is powered by 220-V single phase and operates utilizing a 1 HP motor. The machine includes two driven rolling mechanisms and can roll 16-gauge mild steel with ease.

Emphasizing safety and efficiency when working in elevated environments, this comprehensive training program covers essential topics such as fall prevention, equipment inspection, proper harness use, and scissor lift operation techniques. This training is designed to meet industry safety standards and prepares participants for careers in construction, maintenance, and other fields requiring working at heights, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle the challenges of elevated job sites. 

3-D Coordinate Measuring
The Mitutoyo CRYSTA-APEX S544 is a high-accuracy CNC coordinate measuring machine that guarantees a maximum permissible error of *E0,MPE = (1.7+3L/1000)μm. It also features a temperature compensation system that guarantees the accuracy of measurement under temperature conditions of 60.8 to 78.8 °F (16 to 26 °C). This machine offers a maximum drive speed of 519mm/s (20.4″/s) and a maximum acceleration of 2,309mm/S2 (7.57″/S2), resulting in an increase of almost 100 mm in drive distance in one second (when compared with general-purpose CNC coordinate measuring machines).
